The Dark Tower: The Long Road Home (Graphic Novel)

After the smashing success of The Gunslinger Born—the first graphic novel of The Dark Tower prequel series—Stephen King reunites us with 14-year-old Roland Deschain and his ka-tet for the dark and dangerous adventures of The Long Road Home.

Susan Delgado is dead…and Roland’s mind is trapped within the haunted world of Maerlyn’s Grapefruit, where dark forces continually torment his soul. With Clay Reynolds and the Big Coffin Hunters in close pursuit, it will take all the courage Alain and Cuthbert possess to get Roland’s unconscious body home alive. But while they cut through the formidable menaces that stand in their way, the boy Sheemie accidentally stirs a long-slumbering robot, portending an evil of which the ka-tet has no ken….

Outstanding!
March 23, 2010

I am glad I purchased the complete gunslinger set, plus the first three graphic novels. Although I had read the first two novels when they came out, I had lost track of the storyline by 2010. The graphic novels reset the stage for me and wet my appetite for the real deal. The saga is outstanding! Kudos to King. I also think the graphic novels are a great way to gain the interest of new readers who will become avid King fans. WTG Marvel!

Best Series to Date
November 17, 2009

I read the first 4 and was addicted. Unfortunately I had to wait...and wait... am wait... and was about to give up entirely when the new material arrived and believe me, it did NOT disappoint. You get so emotionally involved with the characters that every interaction/disaster/joy can be felt by the reader. Excellent series. By far Stephen King's best works in my opinion.

Stephen King
June 05, 2009

Stephen King is my all-time favorite. He is my mentor. I am currently writing my own novel. He has written several books on how to write well. I have followed his techniques and his experience discussions. My dream is to become a writer, and "if" I succeed, I will dedicate my novel to him. The way he can come up with his stories in his imagination, and in his own way, is so amazing to me.
