There's nothing like reading the book - movies never live up to the written word. And this book is a wonderful addition to any library. The illustrations are marvelous. The entire book evokes images of Victorian England. I've had other editions of this tale, but this is definitely the "go-to" book for all future readings. What a great way to enjoy an old Christmas tradition. Truly a must-have edition.

Christmas Carol has become part of what defines the Christmas spirit, and this book is the most beautiful. I bet Dickens never realized the impact his story would have for so many future generations. A must read every year.

I LOVE Dickens! I have many other editions of this wonderful
story. I have a replica of his orginal written work of this story. In this edition, the art work is wonderful and looks
like it represents that era of time. Wonderful addition to my
collection!

If you are a fan of this most classic of Christmas tales, this book is a wonderful addition to your collection. The illustrations by Innocenti are spectacular and the book itself is very high quality. I have owned this for a decade and treasure it. It's a great value and something you'll be proud to pass on to your children and future generations.

We have had this book since it came out back in 1990, and it is our favorite Christmas Carol book. In fact, it is our favorite Christmas book. The quality of the illustrations is top notch, and Roberto Innocenti did a marvelous job of translating the words into stunning watercolors. And ofcourse Christmas just wouldn't be Christmas without a reading of Christmas Carol and watching the original black and white movies. Perfection.
